Job Summary:

The Community Manager is directly responsible for all aspects of the resident community and services. S/he is responsible for supervision of all team members associated with the project and their standard of performance. Manages property to ensure efficient and profitable operation.

Key Responsibilities:Oversee property operations in line with company valuesUphold professionalism and imageDeliver top-notch customer service and communicationAssign tasks to team membersRemain on call 24/7 for emergenciesManage incident reports and safety complianceAssess and adjust property operations as neededMaintain occupancy levels and lease unitsReview leases and ensure financial stabilitySupervise maintenance contracts and assist residents promptlySchedule staff for efficiencyCertify resident income and inspect propertyConduct annual employee appraisalsControl inventory within budgetMake daily operational decisionsPlan community eventsManage correspondence and employee recordsOffer resident information and referralsPrepare property budgets and financial statementsSubmit subsidy vouchers as neededHandle additional tasks as requiredQualifications and Skills

Education & Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Some related college courses preferred. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Ability to use computer software, and email. Good budget and accounting skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred. Prior related experience highly preferred.

Essential Equipment Skills:

Proficiency in Boston Post softwareAbility to operate computer, printer, telephone, fire alarm system, equipment for the disabled, FAX machine, photocopier/scanner, and car.Physical Activities and Requirements:

Standing, speaking, hearing, reading, and writing (60-100% regularly)Maximum weight carried: 120 lbs; Average weight carried: 30 lbsSustained visual and mental concentrationWalking, sitting (25-59% frequently)Carrying, reaching overhead, pushing/pulling/bending, stooping/kneeling/crouching, ascending descending stairs, lifting, and carrying (11-24% occasionally)Operation of vehicle and other equipment
