Job Description Role: UI/UX Designer Employment: Full-time The primary mode of work: In Office Location: Hyderabad Who are we? We are a SaaS-based product start-up in the construction tech space on a mission to make construction faster by leveraging technology to enhance productivity and deliver higher profitability across the sector. What are we looking for? We are looking for an experienced and talented UI/UX Engineer to design and shape a unique, usercentric product and experience for our customers. Major responsibilities include solving user experience problems and designing graphic elements. You will be able to make deliberate design decisions and translate any given user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker who has strong design skills. They should be able to communicate effectively in order to understand the criteria of a project and deliver a carefully crafted user design and experience. Responsibilities include the following:
Craft Devins Design System o Visual identity system that resonates with our brand o Think of reusable components when designing o Craft a style guide
Work with the product team to understand business objectives and translate them into o Information architecture (UX) o User journeys / App Flows (UX) o Low fidelity designs /Wireframes (UI) o High fidelity designs (UI)
Work with QA and Engineering team to validate design implementation.
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems by implementing instrumentation tools, conducting periodic customer reviews.
Present and defend your design decisions. All your design decisions should be based on the overall design roadmap as well as your own design thinking and fundamental principles (i.e. color theory, visual weight, etc.)
Effectively communicate how the creative vision will help achieve company objectives.
Designs need to be compatible with all devices (Web, Tablet, Mobile) Required qualification, experience & Skill set:
Bachelors degree from an accredited institute with 5+ years of relevant work experience
Prior work experience as a UI-UX designer in a creative agency and production environment
Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc.
Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle and UX design process
Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator/After-Effects)
Skills in Sketch/Figma/Adobe XD/InVision or any such design tools is a plus
Self-motivated and capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities
Excellent communication skills, a team player and collaborator
