Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:**Safety & Quality:**Completes all required safety training and conducts all work in accordance with safety policies and regulationsFollows-up on safety and quality related issues immediately and works towards resolution with stakeholdersPerforms and facilitates audits and submits good catches on safety issuesProactively reduces incidents of personal injuries, safety hazards or environmental releasesFollows proper change management practices to ensure safety and quality expectations are metEnsures proper tool documentation/reaction mechanisms exist for shift teams and submits updates to content when neededMaintains a constant improvement program for defect reduction / yield improvement**Communication & Collaboration:**Partners with shift teams to resolve tool process issues and maximize tool outputCollaborates with supervisor and areas leaders to create personal performance and development goalsCommunicates proactively with MDE shift and Shift Ops leaders on the daily priorities and issuesAttends and participates in DAM, TPM Teams, SPC, Transfer and other meetingsPartners with Equipment Engineers and shift Engineers/Technicians to gather input for area improvementCommunicates changes made to equipment and follows business rules for change controlPartners with HVMs in data collection, gap analysis, and improvement implementation as part of Benchmarking and transfer activitiesProactively communicates issues that could cause yield loss, excursions, defects, tool restrictions, or output lossCoordinate with Process Development Engineering, Process Integration, and Shift Ops on process issues and changesPartners with Shift Ops, SOT and the IE team to ensure existing process holds are minimizedProactively communicates known impacts of special processing requests and potential process holds to Shift Ops and SOT Area Managers**Technical/Data Analysis:**Writes and modifies recipes to enable efficient tool processing and experimentationAnalyzes data to make critical decisions and drive cost reduction activitiesResolves CT/capacity related issues in the area (redundancy, target reduction, sample plans, RPT issues, etc.)Monitors equipment usage and production efficiency to ensure max output and turnsProvides QDR documentation and proactive follow-up on issuesResponds to chronic SPC performance issues by driving to fix root causeProvides troubleshooting support for complex process problems and address root causesEnsures the quality process of daily operations, communicate process holds, and formulate action plansMaintains matching and drives for process consistencyEffectively plans for required capacity and product mix by ensuring equipment is capable of running variance as projectedProvides effective and timely guidance to resolve equipment issues and is highly engaged in key problem resolution**Data Science and Machine Learning:**Use Python/JMP/Java and other coding languages to enable AI/Machine-learning principles for reducing engineering time required to perform actions and to simplify repeated tasksAutomate functions such as Big Data Analysis, Automatic Process Control and Composite MetrologyUse Coding/Scripting to automate other functions involved with process control, quality, SPC, process maturity, machine/equipment monitoring and others.**Project Management/Planning:**Manages projects to ensure deliverables are completed within the required scope, schedule and budgetTracks actions and provides escalation path or resources to ensure actions will be completed on timeDrives shift team to focus on priority issues and stay within the scope of the projectCoordinates and leads meetings and initiates follow-up actionsSupports department business processes for new tool installations, as well as existing tool modifications or removals**Successful Candidates must have the following Qualifications:**Advanced PC skills including a familiarity with MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPointDemonstrated Automation skills through previous automation projects requiring coding/machine learning/JMP ScriptingStrong ability to perform functions of this role described above with minimal supervision/guidanceStrong logic and problem-solving skills and thought processes with successfully demonstrated experienceAdvanced understanding of the process flow related to area equipmentStrong leadership skills with the proven ability to coordinate efforts across a variety of groupsStrong ability and proven skills to efficiently organize multifunctional teams to complete projects to solve an array of problemsProven ability to lead and coordinate meetings and initiate follow-up actionsStrong partnering, negotiation and teamwork skillsAdvanced understanding of the Fab process areas including area processing equipmentStrong understanding of SPC principlesStrong understanding of the use and risks of GeRMIntermediate understanding of Probe and Param functionsProven ability to communicate and present effectively to all audiencesAdvanced data extraction, analysis, and reporting skillsProven ability to multi-task complex projectsProven ability to troubleshoot complex problems and address root causesStrong understanding of physics, area chemistry, and algebraic conceptsStrong analytical problem-solving skillsProven time management, organization, and prioritization skillsProven ability to troubleshoot issues related to process flowsProven ability to develop a procedure or action plan when one is not currently in place**Education and Experience:**Required: BS degree in science or
