Job Description
gateB is seeking a versatile and quick-learning Front-End Web Developer to join our collaborative team in Los Angeles. In this role, you will contribute to the engineering, development, enhancement, documentation, and support of web-based solutions tailored to address the diverse marketing operations and analytics challenges faced by gateB clients.
Key Responsibilities
Translate front-end specifications with varying degrees of detail to functional component-based applications.
Review and assess functional specifications to estimate complexity and potential implementation challenges.
Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
Assist in troubleshooting, documenting, and resolving issues in existing client applications.
Ensure applications and components are developed following responsiveness, security, cross-platform support, and performance scalability best practices.
Implement integrations into clients' existing environments using APIs or third-party components.
Continuously learn and explore new technologies and frameworks to improve skills and stay current in the field.
Document code, processes, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain a comprehensive record of the project.
**Qualifications & Personal Attributes **
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
Minimum of 3 years of software development experience is required.
Proficiency in a range of technologies, including:
CSS3/SCSS/Tailwind CSS
Javascript ES6+ and Front-end frameworks: Vue.js / AngularJS / ReactJS
Native Web Component Development
SOAP/REST/GraphQL APIs and asyncronous logic
Version Control and CI/CD: Github
Component documentation frameworks: Storybook
Test frameworks: Jest / Mocha / Chai
Build Tools: Webpack / Gulp / npm for automation and task management
Strong understanding of web security and system performance best practices.
Excellent communication skills for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Self-motivated professional with a proactive approach, a sense of urgency, focus, and discipline.
The highest levels of professional character, integrity, and ethics.
Other Nice-to-Have Skills:
Familiarity with Sitecore Content Hub, censhare, Adobe Workfront, Aprimo, or Magnolia CMS.
Full-stack development experience utilizing node.js, python, java or .net framework.
Experience in DevOps and Cloud Development, particularly in AWS and MS Azure.
