SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible for providing exceptional service to home buyers, turning their exterior and interior design requests into detailed selections with respect to their budget constraints and DFH Homes’ construction process and schedule.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:• Ability to multitask, work as part of a team, and work independently on multiple projects all at once• Coordinates selections meetings per DFH Homes GEMS manual• Reviews construction cut-off dates per DFH Homes GEMS manual as they pertain to the selections process• Prepares for selections meetings by compiling and reviewing all necessary administrative paperwork• Assists homebuyers in the selections process; provides professional advice on the types of materials and/ or upgrades that are most appropriate• Responsible for design concepts for all pre-sale and/ or inventory home selections within respective Division• Communicates directly with Purchasing Manager and/ or Estimator to receive quotes, product specifications, etc.• Serves as liaison between home buyers, Divisional personal, and sales agents until design finalization has been approved• Processes option addendums and change orders accordingly• Assists with data entry and document management• Conducts preview appointments and Design Studio open house events for prospective home buyers as needed• Performs other duties as needed or required

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE• High School Diploma or GED with relevant work experience required• Two to four years of experience in home design, customer service, sales, or construction• Professional verbal and written communication required• Strong attention to detail• Proficient in Microsoft Office• Works well under pressure or in time-sensitive matters• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment• Valid driver’s license• Maintaining a good attitude• Able to be decisive and flexible

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. Vision abilities required by the job are close vision. The employee is often required to sit and use their

hands and fingers to handle, feel, and operate office equipment such as a computer, copier, and office supplies.

In addition, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with their arms and hands, and to stoop, kneel or crouch. Employee is also required to have a valid river’s license and will be asked to drive.
