Education and Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree • Experience with Bookkeeping • Experience in Grant Writing
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
• Knowledge of bookkeeping practices and procedures • Knowledge of the grant writing process • Technical writing skills • Proficiency (intermediate or advanced level) in personal computer use, data entry, and MS Office word processing and spreadsheets • Excellent public relations and interpersonal skills in dealing with staff, students, parents, administrators and co workers • Ability to work independently with limited supervision • Ability to accurately compose correspondence and other documents • Ability to perform a wide variety of assignments requiring organizational skills and interpretation of standard office and bookkeeping procedures • Ability to appropriately handle confidential matters • Ability to perform essential job functions and job task requirement

Salary:
Twelve months (234 days) per contract year and appropriate placement on the Exempt Salary Schedule. The work calendar is subject to change based on any Board approved revisions that may or may not be Permanent. Reference: Alamogordo Public Schools Salary and Work Day Calendar
Conditions of Employment:
Ability to comply with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 and, upon an offer of employment, complete an Employee's Statement of Health and submit to a functional capacity evaluation at the District's expense to determine ability to perform job-related functions and fitness for duty. Any offer of employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of all background, criminal, and reference investigations.
