About the role

As an Internal Communications Manager, you will serve as our Internal Communications Business Partner for the Worldpay Chief Technology Office (CTO) team and report to Corporate Communications. The role will manage development of communication strategy, execution and implementation of people-centric communications to support the business goals of the CTO.

What you will be doing:Partners closely with the CTO (Chief Technology Organization) to deliver communications for people programs.Develops and manages the execution of strategic communication plans and the implementation of communications tacticsAdvises senior management in our Chief Technology Organization on communications initiatives to support company objectivesManages the development, production and implementation of internal communicationsConsults with internal clients to develop appropriate communications solutions and utilizes communications methods and techniques to develop strategic approaches to meet client objectivesAnalyzes communications policies, procedures, and standards for efficiency and effectiveness based on the needs of the target audiences and select appropriate communications vehiclesDetermines need for and content of graphics to explain and enhance written materials and edits materials for content, grammar, format, etc.Gains approval on materials from appropriate personnel, reviews final copy of materials to ensure correctness and readiness for production and arranges for production and distribution of materialsCoordinates projects by determining project scope, deadlines and resourcesMeets with internal customers requesting communications to gather information, e.g., purpose/message of materials, method of communications and tone/image of materials and make recommendations on the organization, style, etc.Directs the development of communications vehicles, e.g., management briefs, videos, special events, verbal and written presentations.Coordinates projects and oversees all phases of production, e.g., planning, writing, producing with internal/external vendors. May negotiate contracts with vendor management to support communications needs, objectives, budget and time frames.Conducts surveys to obtain feedback from employees regarding CTO communicationsCoaches company representatives to maximize the effectiveness of their presentations to internal audiencesBe a student of the business and over time learn how the CTO function works and supports the success of the wider Worldpay COO function and overall enterprisePerforms staff leadership role and promotes motivation through effective management and mentoringMaintains budget as required and ensures all financial objectives and expectations are metMaintains history file of communicationsSupport content and agenda in conjunction with CTO leadership officeOther related duties assigned as neededWhat you need:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, along with proven communication planning, execution, and measurementAbility to influence and partner within organizationHigh energy and positive attitude to work with varying stakeholders and get them through to the "final mile" of action and outcomesPersistent and relationship-focusedExperience in technical communicationAbility to respond to assignments with little or no notice, manage shifting priorities and operate in ambiguityMust have the ability to handle conflicts and successfully manage multiple projects concurrentlyMust be able to exercise sound judgment independentlyStrong organizational and time management skillsStrong attention to detail and interpersonal skillsSome limited travel may be requiredEmail marketing experience, preferably Marketo is preferred
