Job Summary:

The Director of Graduate Marketing & Enrollment Management for Graduate and Professional Studies is responsible for collaboratively developing and implementing Graduate and Adult Degree Completion recruitment and marketing strategy for Southern Adventist University.

Duties and Responsibilities :

In collaboration with the Graduate schools, Marketing and University Relations, and Enrollment Management, develop and implement a comprehensive graduate program recruitment and marketing plan that supports the overall enrollment goals and the mission of the university.In collaboration with the Adult Degree Completion program, Marketing and University Relations, and Enrollment Management, develop and implement a comprehensive ADC recruitment and marketing plan that supports the overall enrollment goals and the mission of the university.The marketing plan for Graduate programs and schools is reviewed and updated annually by the Graduate Curriculum Committee in preparation for the following academic year.The marketing plan for ADC degree programs is reviewed and updated annually by Graduate Dean and Director of ADC in preparation for the following school year.Recruit and advise prospective graduate students to meet enrollment goals.Become a team Partner with each graduate school and be familiar with programs, personnel, and needs.Provide opportunities for graduate students, graduate alumni, and graduate faculty to assist with graduate and ADC recruitment.Stay updated about the graduate admissions flow, Adult Degree Completion admissions flow, application processing, tuition, payment plan, financial aid awarding, scholarships, loans, campus visit program, and graduate assistant opportunities.Develop/maintain relationships with the NAD college and university administrations and faculty/staff where graduate recruitment occurs.Develop/maintain relationships with Chattanooga area employers, colleges and universities, and other business organizations and service groups where graduate recruitment could occur.Travel to colleges and organizations for graduate school days, graduate fairs, graduate forums, career days, and information sessions within the overall graduate marketing plan.Achieve and maintain performance benchmarks for graduate enrollment and marketing, including the calculation of relevant statistics as directed, including enrollment yields by school.Build effective inquiry pools and develop a graduate communication flow in the customer relationship management (CRM), Slate, aggressively following-up with inquirers and applicants using calls, e-mails, and written communication.Organize graduate recruitment events as needed, such as open houses, visit nights, and events downtown.Work with Marketing and University Relations on effective ad creation and placements in radio, billboard, TV, print, and/or social media advertising, as well as publicity, to build awareness and reputation of graduate and ADC programs.Work with Marketing and University Relations to develop up-to-date, university branded print and electronic materials, including an effective website, for the graduate and ADC programs.Attend professional development events.Other duties as assigned by the Dean of Graduate and Professional Studies.

Must have an expressed commitment to Jesus Christ, the teachings and mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, a SDA church member in good and regular standing, and a desire to serve in a cooperative, spiritually redemptive, and soul-winning atmosphere.

Qualifications:

Must demonstrate track record of effective interpersonal communication, strong writing and speaking skills, and the ability to present the university in a positive way; have a customer-service approach; be innovative and motivated; be able to work collaboratively; be organized and skilled in follow through; demonstrate sound judgment; and be technologically savvy with strong computer skills. This position requires the ability to travel to remote locations and to load and transport materials, displays, and other equipment. Some evening and weekend hours required.

Education: Master's Degree required.

Experience: Two years of sales or marketing experience preferred

Typical Physical Demands:

Requires sitting, standing, bending, and reaching. May require lifting up to 25 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, calculators, the telephone, and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and vision.

Working Conditions:

Essential tasks are performed under normal office/school conditions with little or no noticeable discomfort. Work area is well lighted and ventilated.
