The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the successful development and execution of Puffer’s Marketing Communication goals, promoting and enhancing the brand of Puffer-Sweiven, and launching new product/service offerings.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and execute marketing objectives and associated strategies. Deliver content through a variety of marketing platforms.Develop, manage, and maintain digital and social media marketing programs. Research and recommend, with IT, digital platforms utilized.Train the sales force on generating leads through the effective use of marketing tools, including social media.Monitor website and social media activity and report key metrics.Develop and promote branding initiatives consistent with Company Mission and Values.Design, develop and execute campaigns to support business units and sales teams’ objectives, including generating leads.Manage “style guide” used throughout the company.Manage activities of external consultants and vendors when involved in the execution of projects.Work closely with all sales and business unit leaders to develop communications and marketing materials.Develop and manage internal communication standards and programs to increase communication between employees and the Company.Use a systematic approach to measure and monitor the effectiveness of Marketing.Supervise and develop the Event Coordinator and Communication Specialist.Collaborate frequently with business unit leaders, sales leaders, and the Digital Customer Experience Manager.QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Knowledge:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, journalism, or related field is required.Experience and expert knowledge of marketing, including communications and product management.Experience/Skills:

5+ years of experience in a marketing role that included:B2B marketingOriginal writing and editingBrand building and managementSupporting technical products/servicesSocial media techniquesGraphic designProject managementUsing systems to measure and monitor marketing’s effectiveness.

Superior writing and communication skills with the ability to create technical marketing materials.Experience working in technology or the process automation industry.Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Entrepreneurial work ethic.COMPETENCIES:
