We are looking for someone with a passion for storytelling, aligned with business strategy and industry acumen, to help us share how we make meaningful impacts with our sponsors and in our communities. We need someone who can quickly learn our business model and help with the execution of integrated communications plans that are aligned to strategic business priorities and outcomes while also promoting the MITRE brand.While this person will specialize in promoting MITRE’s AI capabilities and thought leadership, they will be brought into other business areas as needed.To be successful in this role, this individual will need to be a self-starter and super collaborator across all of MITRE’s Enterprise Communications team. Previous experience in B2B and / or B2G tech marketing is necessary with a focus on AI highly coveted.They will need to be a strong writer and editor who can support content production for different delivery channels and who understands best practices in digital marketing tactics. They will also need to have exceptional experience in program and/or project management, including management of diverse stakeholders, and excel at taking ownership of campaign timelines and deliverables.Roles & Responsibilities:+ Collaborate with colleagues across Enterprise Communications to execute strategic marketing and communications plans that support cross-cutting initiatives and high-priority topics.+ Use digital marketing and social media platforms to manage, support, and measure outreach campaigns.+ Partner with our technical and domain experts to collect, curate, and create thought leadership content including articles, social media posts, videos, case studies, white papers, webinars, podcasts, and other forms of dynamic content.+ Use data-driven insights by analyzing content marketing metrics to suggest campaign changes and develop more effective assets.+ Support strategic events that showcase MITRE innovations, capabilities, and thought leadership.+ Work closely with company leaders to understand MITRE priorities for impactful work, growth opportunities, and audiences. Build marketing and communications plans to support those priorities and liaise with appropriate enterprise-wide departments/groups.+ Collaborate with Internal Communications team to identify internal storytelling projects aligned to business priorities to support intranet content and leadership messaging.Basic Qualifications:+ Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.+ Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.+ Experience combining words and images into strong brand stories.+ Prior experience presenting to the C-Suite or the equivalent.+ Proven experience identifying and measuring meaningful campaign performance metrics.+ Experience working with highly technical programs and translating them into professional stories for a non-technical audience.+ Familiar with B2G, B2B campaign development.+ Strong project management skills, including working with creative teams.+ Detail-oriented and committed to meeting deadlines consistently.+ Comfortable managing multiple efforts in parallel.+ Problem solver with great listening skills.Preferred Qualifications:+ Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or similar+ Big Four, Management Consulting marketing/comms experienceThis requisition requires the candidate to have a minimum of the following clearance(s):NoneThis requisition requires the hired candidate to have or obtain, within one year from the date of hire, the following clearance(s):NoneWork Location Type:HybridMITRE is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
