The UC Davis Library Access and Delivery and Services: Course Reserves (CR) and Operations units support the research, teaching and public service mission of the university by ensuring access to materials owned by the library. Under general supervision, this position is responsible for the processing of materials onto Course Reserves. Requires specialized knowledge and technical expertise to manage CR activities. Supports Operations unit Coordinates activities with other library and campus units to ensure smooth continuity of service.Apply By Date - July 5, 2024QualificationsMinimum QualificationsFor full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license, certification and/or educational degree if required of the position.Experience delivering customer-centric service in a high-volume, deadline driven environment, answering questions and solving problems.Experience using Windows, MS Office, and cloud-based tools (eg. Google Drive) to create, update, and organize files.Experience using analytical and organizational skills to set priorities, balance workloads and adapt routines, apply critical analysis, make decisions and solve problems. Experience executing projects including implementing new policies and procedures, and suggesting improvements to work procedures and policy.Interpersonal and communication skills to successfully interact with a diverse patron and staff population, and to remain calm and exercise tact and compassion when dealing with individuals and intense situations.Skill to work efficiently and accurately with detail, including bibliographic skills to retrieve and interpret records, verify citations and determine appropriate tools for bibliographic checking.Ability to work independently, establish priorities, and organize work to meet time constraints.Knowledge of general library functions.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent in experience.Experience working in an academic or similar library setting.Experience with public service modules in an integrated library system, ex.
