Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC and Plano, TX. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities:
Enact tool and service designs within a technical domain that enables business strategies in accordance with architectural governance, standards and policiesPrimary contributor to the creation of infrastructure tools and their integration as an infrastructure serviceFacilitate deployment of technical solution by developing templates, playbooks and automation to be used during implementationSeek opportunities to improve the reliability and efficiency when implementing and maintaining infrastructure tools and/or servicesEmbrace the culture that drives innovation and continuous improvement
Requirements:
Degree in computers or information technology8+ years of expert level solution design experience comprising one or more infrastructure areas like Unix, Windows, Middleware, DatabaseExperience in system/database/middleware administration, design & support in a large-scale environmentGood understanding of overall infrastructure domain including complete network and application development stackFamiliar with the implementation, configuration and troubleshooting of applications hosted on Windows & Unix platformsGood knowledge of ESX/VMWare/vSAN and other virtualization technologies/platformsUnderstanding of Enterprise automation & orchestration tools like Ansible
