We are building enterprise data governance solution to document and govern the data across ***. As part of it, we will build the integrations with various applications/data sources to collect and document the metadata and data lineage.• What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? (Please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis)
- Takes full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code.- Takes feedback from code review and apply changes to meet standards.- Accountable for ensuring all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices.- Exhibits relentless focus in software reliability engineering standards embedded into development standards.- Reviews tasks critically and ensures they are appropriately prioritized and sized for incremental delivery. Anticipates and communicates blockers and delays before they require escalation.• What skills/technologies are required (please include the number of years of experience required)?
Programming languages Java, Springboot & python.JavascriptMicro services (REST)Streaming (Kafka or similar)SQL & NOSQL Db's.CI/CDKubernetes.
Experience: 7+ years• What skills/attributes are preferred (these are a desired, not required)?
Public Cloud (Azure, AWS)Contribution to Open Source• What does the interview process look like?o How many rounds? 2 roundso Video, phone, or in person? Videoo How technical will the interviews be? Fully technical
Expert level hands-on experience in Microservices/API development using Java/Spring boot.• Experience in frontend technologies like Javascript.• Experience in streaming technologies like Apache Kafka is preferred.• Experience with RDBMS like PostgreSQL, and/or MS SQL• Experience in NoSQL databases like Cassandra.• Prior experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)• Experience in CI/CD.• Thorough understanding of a feature, the users impacted, the flows impacted and feature's purpose.• Adept with agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles• Able to communicate processes and results with all parties involved in the product team, including engineers, product owner, scrum master, third party vendors and customers.• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
