Summary:

The Marketing Communication Director will serve as the leader responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing communication strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive demand generation, and support sales efforts for all our industry leading brands. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing, the successful candidate will oversee all aspects of marketing communication, including digital marketing strategies, marketing operations, event planning, data asset management, and collaboration with advertising agencies and partners.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and implement strategic marketing communication plans to effectively communicate the brand message across various channels, including print and digital advertising, digital marketing, social media, PR, and events, leveraging a mix of digital, traditional, and experiential marketing channels.Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, including Digital Marketing Manager, Shopper Marketing Manager, Event Planning Specialist, Designers, and administrative staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.Oversee the development and execution of digital marketing strategies, including website optimization, content marketing, email marketing, social media management, search engine optimization (SEO), and digital advertising campaigns.Lead marketing operations and ensure efficient processes and systems are in place for campaign execution, budget management, performance tracking, and reporting.Manage the planning and execution of marketing events, trade shows and sales meetings to maximize brand exposure and generate qualified leads.Direct asset management, maintenance, and development, including the creation of marketing collateral, sales materials, presentations, product literature, and multimedia content to support sales and marketing initiatives.Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and standards for data asset management to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.Collaborate closely with advertising agencies and external partners to develop integrated advertising campaigns, creative concepts, and media strategies that align with brand guidelines and business objectives.Lead the planning and execution of marketing plans for new product launches by working closely with Product Managers to drive awareness, engagement, and sales.Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive insights, and customer preferences to inform marketing strategies and messaging.Measure and analyze the effectiveness of marketing communication initiatives using relevant metrics and KPIs and make data-driven recommendations for optimization and improvement.Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, industry influencers, trade associations, and media partners to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.Proven experience (10+ years) in marketing communication, brand management, or related roles within the B2B building product manufacturing industry.Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, strategies, and tactics, with hands-on experience in digital marketing channels and tools.Demonstrated leadership experience in managing marketing operations, event planning, asset management, and collaboration with advertising agencies and partners.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate a compelling vision, influence stakeholders, and build strong relationships internally and externally.Strategic thinker with analytical mindset, creative problem-solving abilities, and a results-driven approach to marketing communication.Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of building products, construction industry trends, and relevant regulations and standards is a plus.A passion for innovation, continuous learning, and driving measurable impact through marketing communication initiatives.The job requires moderate travel in order to liaise with Sales, channel partners and customers on a regular basis.

Salary: $167K - $200K
