Oversee the Promotions and Marketing Department at Great Plains Media, Inc. (107.7 & 92.1 The Bull, Magic 99.5 and Cities 92.9)SEEKING
:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.-Must be at least 21 years of age-Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs. (Must be able to set up station tents, tables, and banners)-Must have a valid driver’s license-Highly detail oriented individual–Outgoing personality (able to interact with people you’ve never met)-Self-motivator-Must be available to work some nights and weekendsRESPONSIBILITIES:-Oversee the promotions department by planning, promoting, and executing station events and giveaways (live broadcast, appearances, contests, promotions, etc.)-Represent the station at live broadcasts and appearances in our community (interact with patrons, take pictures and videos, post to social media, etc)-Oversee the Great Plains Media digital outlets (websites, social media and eblasts)-Create graphic design images for digital elements, gift certificates, handouts, flyers, etc(graphic design experience is helpful but not required)-Work closely with the Programming and Sales Department on details regarding events and giveaways-Assist the Brand Manager with the marketing of the stations to increase listenership and brand recognition-Help manage prize inventory and database (organize physical prizes, calling prize winners, etc)-Manage 1-2 Part-Time Promotions Team Members-Act as charity partnership liaison for special events throughout the year-Handle secretary duties (greeting guests, answering phones, ordering supplies, etc)-Assist with other tasks that may arise in the Promotions DepartmentGreat Plains Media is an Equal Opportunity EmployerDavid Paul Blumenshine and Cat Petersen sit down to talk about their time at the Republican day at the Illinois State fair!
