Summary

Pelican is seeking a talented Marketing Manager to join our team and help drive the future of this business. You will work under the Sr. Marketing Manager as an integral part of growing and driving Pelican’s commercial and government sectors through innovative marketing tactics and programs. The Marketing Manager will develop and execute marketing campaigns to help us reach our customers, increase brand awareness and drive leads for our internal sales team. Candidates should have a strong background in digital marketing, reporting and be able to translate the complex needs of our customers into effective marketing initiatives.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales team to develop comprehensive marketing strategies targeting each of our core audience segments. Identify customer pain points, preferences, and communication channels to position our products effectively.
  • Develop marketing campaigns and initiatives to generate leads, increase brand awareness, and drive customer engagement within our B2B audience
  • Oversee and optimize the company's digital marketing efforts across organic, paid search, display, social, email.
  • Support specific products designed for military, commercial and government use with compelling storytelling tactics and marketing communication
  • Develop and execute SEO content roadmap to improve organic search rankings and drive targeted traffic.
  • Manage email and marketing automation campaigns to effectively nurture our B2B leads
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand their marketing requirements and provide support in creating effective collateral, presentations, and materials specifically tailored to the B2B audience.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our products and services to effectively communicate Pelican’s value proposition to our customers.
  • Manage the planning, organizing, and executing tradeshows and other marketing events targeted at the market. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution, including booth setup, promotional materials, and post-event follow-up.
  • Manages the Dealer Co-Op Program through direct interaction with Sales reps and key Dealers, including creation of Dealer ad materials, dealer updates and monthly calls with dealers (by request)
  • Partner with CRM team to continuously monitor lead funnel activity, identify performing campaigns and continuously assess lead quality by channel.
  • Track and analyze marketing metrics specific to the B2B audience, including lead generation, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on marketing performance, making data-driven recommendations to consistently optimize our marketing channels.
  • Follows company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement. Follows safety guidelines and procedures in accordance to the job.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Marketing or a related field.
  • 5+ years experience in digital marketing and/or B2B marketing required.
  • Must have experience with marketing automation platforms (Eloqua, HubSpot, Pardot, etc.)
  • Must have experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
  • Must be proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and/or other appropriate software.
  • Must possess strong marketing skills with respect to product introduction, marketing research, market analysis, marketing campaign reporting and a basic understanding of operations, technical, regulatory and sales environments.
  • Must have excellent written, negotiation, presentation, verbal communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working for a manufacturer or distributor is preferred
  • Must have strong organizational and conceptual abilities to transfer market initiatives into profitable realities and serve as internal champion for these programs.
  • High ethical and moral standards in line with company values.
  • Must be able to work and interact effectively and cooperatively with team members, department managers and employees at all levels of the organization in an effort to keep projects on schedule and within budget guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Marketing or Business Administration preferred.
  • Experience working for a manufacturing company is preferred.

The approximate base compensation range is shown above. The actual offer may vary based on skills, experience and location.
