Senior Graphic Designer

to join our Marketing and Graphics team. As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and executing visually compelling design solutions that align with our brand identity and communication objectives. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communication, and production, will be crucial to deliver high-quality visual assets that enhance our overall brand image. The ideal candidate will possess professional experience in graphic design and branding, including a proven track record of innovative design thinking and creative problem-solving.

Collaboration is an important part of this position. You will work closely with every department at all levels of the firm to ensure they are receiving the highest quality graphics that enhance our brand image. Attention to detail will be key for maintaining strict quality control standards.

Additionally, to promote in-person collaboration and client teaming, we prioritize hiring those who reside within 50 miles of a Rincon office which currently includes: Carlsbad, Fresno, Los Angeles, Monterey, Oakland, Palm Springs, Riverside, Sacramento, San Luis Obispo, San Diego, San Jose, Santa Barbara, and Ventura.

Overview of Key Duties and Responsibilities:Design visually compelling materials for both print and digital mediums, including marketing proposals, infographics, reports, presentations, newsletters, conference assets, and other marketing collateralDevelop and utilize marketing tools such as branded templates and assets to increase brand awarenessConceptualize and execute innovative campaigns for various client points of contact while maintaining visual consistencyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audienceTranslate design requests into impactful visual solutions that adhere to brand guidelines and objectivesDevelop visual elements such as logos, layouts, illustrations, and multimedia content, ensuring consistency across all materialsManage multiple design projects simultaneously, from concept to completion, while adhering to established timelinesUtilize design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) to create and edit visual content, staying updated on the latest design trends and toolsStay informed about advancements in graphic design and AI technology

This Job Might Be For You If You Have The Following:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field7+ years of experience in designing long documents with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in this areaExperience in the AEC (Architecture/Environmental/Engineering/Construction) industryProficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), as well as Microsoft 365Proficiency in utilizing InDesign style panesStrong understanding of typography, layout, and visual hierarchyExcellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesWebsite Design (including UI/UX skills and WordPress)Experience with Motion graphics, Video production and editingExperience with the WordsFlow InDesign pluginFamiliarity with interactive PDFs and other digital document formats preferredFamiliarity and experience with WCAG accessibility requirements desiredSocial Media strategy knowledge

The base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000-$95,000, plus benefits and bonus. At Rincon, our salary ranges are based on market median of similar jobs, according to third party salary benchmark surveys. The base pay that is actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
