BKF Engineers is seeking an enthusiastic and organized Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team. We are seeking a self-driven candidate who excels in meeting deadlines and collaborates effectively with diverse teams, including engineers, marketers, and designers, to produce persuasive and standout deliverables. Successful candidates will be proactive, possess excellent critical thinking and interpersonal skills, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive under deadlines. As an integral member of our marketing and business development team, you will be developing and executing compelling written and visual materials that promote BKF's services and align with our brand. The location of this position is based out of our Walnut Creek, Santa Rosa, or Newport Beach offices.

BKF specializes in the following market sectors: transportation, healthcare, mixed-use, residential, K-12, higher education, commercial, high-tech, civic and public agency projects.

Responsibilities may include:Coordinate the on-time and compliance response to multiple concurrent client pursuits by developing persuasive and high-quality proposals and presentations.Tasks will include: copywriting, page layout, document formatting, proofreading, coordinating graphics, editing/reviewing, and production of marketing materials.Provide peer review and QA/QC, on marketing materials, as assigned.Prepare and coordinate Requests for Information to teaming partners as well as receive, organize, and integrate information into marketing materials.Coordinate with department managers for scope and fees, as needed.Maintain marketing files and data in Microsoft Windows, Deltek, Hubspot, Adobe, InDesign, OpenAsset with project, contact, and prospect information.Actively communicate and collaborate with the internal Marketing and BD Team.As assigned, design and execute various marketing and communications materials and campaign pieces in support of the firm's strategic business plan.Coordinate and produce award and recognition submittal packages.Ability to work flexible hours to meet requirements and deadlines.Periodic travel to other BKF offices or off-site locations may be required.Assist with other projects and assignments, as needed.Knowledge and experience required:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or English Degree or equivalent demonstrated experience.A minimum of four years of experience with the RFP process and proposal production, preferably with an A/E/C firm.Experience in one or more of BKF's market sectors is highly desirable.Compensation and title commensurate with experience.Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.Must have the ability to work well with others especially department managers, project managers and anyone involved in business development efforts.Prefer strong Graphic Design eye, and page layout capabilities, but not required.Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.)Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).Deltek Vision experience a plus.Experience in Canva and Hub Spot a plus.

Location & Salary

BKF supports a healthy work-life balance and utilizes a hybrid model of home and office work. This position will be based out of any of the following offices: Walnut Creek or Santa Rosa. This position may be required to travel to other offices to physically appear as needed, for collaboration and growth opportunities.

The salary range for this position is anticipated to be $70,000 to $88,000 annually and may vary based upon education, experience, qualifications, skills, geographic location, and performance.
