ROGERCO, Inc. delivers advanced technology, cybersecurity, communications advisory, and multi-media services and is looking for a talented, seasoned multimedia designer to join our creative team of artists to support a Navy client. Ideal candidates have an active Secret security clearance and previous communications work experience for the federal government, preferably defense. This position is on-site in Newport, RI. Candidates must also have an active SECRET security clearance and previous experience in multimedia design for the federal government. Contingent upon award of contract.RequirementsResponsibilities:Develop strategy and tactical execution of visual campaignsDesign materials for traditional print, large-format print, and digital projectsCreate compelling visuals for a variety of media, including (but not limited to) flyers, brochures, signage, exhibits, banners, newsletters, infographics, social media, web banners, and videosAssist with art direction and copyeditingWork with a creative team including photographers and videographersWork with a variety of production equipment and material such as standard and large-format printers, and multiple sizes of laminating equipmentConceptualize, design, and develop unique one-off communication products to help tell the customer’s storyQualifications:Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Arts, or Associates Degree in Graphic Design preferredDemonstrated proficiency with multiple graphic software suites including: Adobe Creative Cloud, MS Office, and website software tools2-4 years of relevant work experience (experience in a federal government or armed forces setting a plus), are detail-oriented, and can support multiple projects at the same timeYou have managed graphic art design, photography, video, and illustration projectsYou have experience in providing art direction, planning projects, estimating costs, tracking project timelines, and identifying project materials to create final deliverables.Proficient in creating, designing, formatting, editing, and maintaining a range of print and digital mediaAble to communicate professionally and effectively with customers ranging from all manner of DoD civilians all the way to the commanding officerExperience designing and formatting for large-media print projects, i.e. on-site banners, signage, and exhibits; including the management of vendors for printing projectsEnergetic, passionate, and intellectually curiousUnderstanding of basic photography and videography concepts and technology and post-production methodsBenefitsHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Retirement Plan (401k, IRA)Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity)Short Term & Long Term Disability
