Sr. Staff Interaction Designer

[Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. seeks a Sr. Staff Interaction Designer to integrate complex workflows into user interface designs that ensure an efficient user experience. Assist in defining interaction design requirements, develop style guides, user interface prototypes and designs, including screen layout and navigation, and participate in user research and contextual interview. Work with the Human Factors/Usability Engineering group in Healthineers Ultrasound. Responsible for developing user interface requirements and usability testing and generating FDA approval usability documentation for general imaging and cardiac ultrasound systems. Advocate for the end user of the products. Apply the fundamentals of user interface design, human-machine interaction, and usability evaluation. [The position requires 10 years of experience with the following skills: Designing user interfaces for medical imaging products and IEC62366; Graphic design; Experience working on all phases of product development from concept to delivery; Working in Agile approach and using tools such as TFS and Confluence; Experience using graphic design tools for prototyping and modeling, such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash, Blend, and XAML; Experience expressing ideas using sketches and simulations; Ultrasound experience; Experience working with users to understand user needs; Experience gathering user feedback on designs; Experience creating effective user-centered design solutions.
