Job Description:We are seeking a talented and experienced

Interior Designer

to join our team based out of Stamford, CT . The ideal candidate will have a passion for luxury design and a keen eye for detail. The Interior Designer will be responsible for creating elegant and functional interiors for our luxury properties, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and design.

As Interior Designer, you will have proven experience of having successfully led a design team and project(s) from inception to completion, whilst also demonstrating exceptional design skills. Furthermore, you will be comfortable working autonomously and possess exceptional attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities for the Interior Designer:

Collaborate with ownership and design team to understand project requirements and vision.Develop design concepts and mood boards that align with ownership preferences and project goals.Create detailed interior design plans, including furniture layouts, color schemes, and material selections.Source and select furniture, fixtures, and accessories that enhance the overall design concept.Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other vendors to ensure the smooth execution of design plans.Manage project timelines and budgets to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Job Qualifications of the Interior Designer:

Bachelor Degree with 4-8 years' post-graduate experience requiredCompletion of at least 2 high-end large-scale luxury residential or luxury hotel projects from beginning to endAbility to create and develop conceptual designsExperience of multi-unit developments and the construction administration side (marking up shop drawings etc.)Advanced skills in Photoshop, InDesign and freehand sketching; Sketch Up is a plusKnowledge of FF&E selection (materials, finishes, detailing and scheduling)Experience in drawing custom furniture via hand sketch and/or AutoCADExperience in Studio software (FF&E procurement program) or similarGood knowledge of building & ADA codes; and hospitality & commercial grade material requirements pertaining to fabrics and finishesSelf-motivated and good team player able to work quickly and efficiently in an organized mannerSelf-confident, receptive to constructive feedbackProven experience in dealing with suppliers and contractorsSolid network of high end/luxury product vendorsFully competent to oversee FF&E specifications of all soft and hard materials/finishes, and project schedules: plumbing fixture, finish, lighting, door hardware, etc.Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and visualExceptional attention to detail
