Product Designer

Design team seeks a product designer for a flagship NT product in the asset owner fintech space. We are the nexus for our product team bringing together tech, business, and product with a client lens. Our work focusses on user flow, simplifying and visualizing data analysis, and generally making NASA-level data and calculations simple and beautiful.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand desires of client and create attractive productWork closely with product managers and other teams (sales and marketing) to establish plan for product release Acknowledge budget and make plans in order to follow financial guidelinesCreate product prototypes prior to creating final productAdjust approach towards designs based on feedback providedQualifications2 - 5 years UX or interaction design experience, and/or education in design or a related fieldExperience designing web applications and using responsive design best practices ideally in a enterprise environmentDesign thinking and UI/UX best practices, as demonstrated in a portfolioAbility to recognize, predict and incorporate use cases and user interactions in designExcellent oral communication, written communication, presentation and facilitation skills are requiredExperience working with a cross-functional team or large-scale software development lifecycle, preferably in an agile environmentCreating and implementing accessible (WCAG 2.1) designsUsing or building design systemsProficiency in graphic design, motion graphics, digital art, as well as a sensitivity to typography, color, layout, and a general awareness of materials/texturesExperience gathering user feedback and making informed UX decision
