U.S. Bank is currently seeking a Translations Project Manager to support the Translation Strategy & Governance team with the execution and delivery of multilingual translations for the bank’s lines of business. The Translations Project Manager will ensure all elements of the localization workflow, from request creation to job completion, are successfully performed and documented in a compliant manner.Responsibilities and tasksReceive translation requests from across the enterprise and delegate tasks to the appropriate internal or external linguists

Lead the file preparation efforts for translation (Word, Excel, InDesign)

Create and organize files utilizing the team’s folder structure to track all localization requests and current status

Proactively identify, address, and rectify issues to keep all deliverables on schedule, this includes ensuring schedules are met by internal and external resources

Work with the team to improve localization processes by reducing output errors, streamlining, and incorporating AI technology to the team’s processes

Multilingual desktop publishing work as needed

Translation quality check and certification is a plus

Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

Six or more years of related experience in marketing and marketing strategy with proven ability to deliver results

Preferred skillsFour to six years of prior project management experience, preferably in translation and localization

Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the localization process

Critical thinker that collaborates to identify opportunities and priorities

Ability to thrive in a complex, fast-paced environment adapting to the changing market environment

Demonstrated agility in thinking and delivery

Strong organizational, interpersonal, and team-building skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Acute attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects

Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize team workload

Resourceful, creative, well-organized, and proactive

Highly proficient in the use of MS Office Suite, Adobe InDesign, Computer Assisted Translation (CAT) tools or software

Basic knowledge of HTML and XML

Working knowledge of Aprimo

Bilingual (Spanish, Chinese, Japanese preferred)

Collaborative thinker who works well on a team

Pay Range: $107,865.00 - $126,900.00 - $139,590.00 U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
