They pride themselves on creating spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and sustainable.We are currently seeking a talented and creative Architectural Interior Designer to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview: The Architectural Interior Designer will be responsible for creating and overseeing the design of interior spaces, ensuring they are both visually appealing and practical. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical proficiency, and strong project management skills. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and a keen eye for detail, capable of transforming client visions into stunning and functional interiors.*This position will be working with Commercial clients
Pay: $70,000-100,000/yr.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Development:
Develop and conceptualize interior design plans that meet client specifications and project requirements.Create detailed drawings, renderings, and presentations to communicate design concepts.Select appropriate materials, furniture, and finishes to achieve the desired aesthetic and functionality.
Project Management:
Manage multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise during construction.
Client Collaboration:
Work closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints.Present design proposals and revisions to clients, incorporating feedback as necessary.Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
Technical Proficiency:
Utilize design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit) to create precise and detailed interior plans.Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and innovative design techniques.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with other designers, architects, and team members to foster a creative and supportive work environment.Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial interior design, preferably within an architectural firm.Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of successful interior design projects.Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.Knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.Professional certification (e.g., NCIDQ) is a plus.
