SUMMARY

This role will partner with internal stakeholders to manage and deliver cutting edge digital experiences. As a Digital SEO Specialist, this position will be responsible for analyzing, reviewing and optimizing websites so they are picked up by search engines, as well as strategizing to test methods in order to gain the most organic and paid traffic. This position will require in-depth understanding of SEO strategies, knowledge of multiple analytic and tracking tools, and experience in creating reports to share with team members and senior leadership in order to create original SEO content.To be successful in this role the potential candidate should understand current Search Engine Optimization best practices and be able to identify trends in order to achieve maximum ROI.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Other duties may be assigned.

Provide team with overall SEO best practicesReviewing and analyzing sites for areas that can be improved and optimizedPrepare detailed strategy reportsIdentifying powerful keywords to drive the most valuable trafficWriting effective SEO content for blogs, websites and social media platforms *Supported by content creation teamKeeping up with SEO strategies and staying within SEO guidelinesDefine, set up, schedule and assign any new or changed projects and tasks in JIRA.Identify risks to leadership that may impact successful project delivery.Responsible for creating briefs, requirements documentation, and supporting documentation.Continuously improve processes and adopt a fail forward mentality.SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university.3+ years of experience in Search Engine Optimization in a design/consulting/digital agency is strongly preferred.3+ years of experience working in the Web, Digital, Content, E-Commerce, or IT space.Web savvy and knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle process including strategy, requirements gathering, UX/Design, Content development, Web development, and QA.Ability to demonstrate competency with Agile project management methodologies.Knowledge of online marketing strategies and website development processes.Provide strong organizational, project management, problem solving and time management skills.Experience working with agenciesExcellent communication skills to build rapport with colleagues and internal clients.Experience with fixed-cost, fixed-time projects and exposure working in a consultation environment.Experience collaborating, presenting and reporting to/with executives.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in marketing or related field; or equivalent from four-year college or university

EXPERIENCE

3+ years of related experience.

Ability to read and interpret documents. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
