Job Overview

As a Lofty Product Marketing Manager, you are the glue that binds our product strategy to the tactics we need to drive success in sales and marketing. You will be the product evangelist and will play an integral role in organizing product launches.

You know our competitors like the back of your hand: what they do today and what they plan to do in the future. You also know our buyers better than they know themselves, including how they make their buying decisions. You back up strategic insights with market evidence and then use that knowledge to drive the development of positioning and messaging that resonates with buyers and empowers our sales channels to be successful.

You will collaborate with our marketing and product teams to develop innovative programs that drive demand. The ability to grasp and present our product's value proposition in a way that clearly articulates how we solve problems will be critical to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

Market intelligence-be the expert on our buyers, who are they, how they buy and their key buying criteriaAnalyze market data to develop sales strategies and define product objectives for effective marketing communication plans and expediting products to marketUnderstand the competitive landscape-be an expert on our competition and how they are positionedUnderstand and document our buyer's process, including where they get information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make. Then drive changes to our sales and marketing processes based on what you learnCollaborate with product management and marketing to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target buyer personasDevelop a marketing plan for our products and services including key activities and budgets to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customersPlan the launch of new products, features and releases, and manage the cross-functional implementation of the planUnderstand and support our sales channels; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it.Write creative briefs and manage workflow for the development of marketing landing pages, emails, collateral, ads, etc.Develop and maintain sales enablement materials and marketing collateral including but not limited to: case studies, product sheets, cheat sheets, battlecards, web copy, and sales presentationsGather insights from customers, prospects, market, and sellers to inform product roadmap prioritization, messaging refinement, and go-to-market strategy optimizationRequirements

3-5 years' experience in product or solutions marketing roles for B2B technology companies, ideally SaaS, and optimally prop-tech!Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent job experienceStrong understanding of the residential real estate market including key buyer personas such as agents, team leaders, and brokersExperience working in a global environment across multiple countries and time zonesExceptional written communication skills - comfortable translating complex technical concepts into easily understood solutions and outcomesStrong analytical and quantitative skills matched with boundless creativityStrong project management skills and a proven ability to work across functional areas to develop unified messaging and positioningAbility to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyExpertise in target market analysis and segmentationFamiliar with product marketing tactics (e.g. integrated marketing campaigns)Excellent interpersonal skills with a team-first mentality!
