Cleveland, OH .

Position Overview:Reporting to the Executive Director, the Marketing & Communications Director oversees the development and execution of marketing and communication strategies. This role is crucial in supporting the organization's mission and strategic objectives. Responsibilities include planning and implementing marketing initiatives, ensuring message clarity across all channels, managing the budget, and overseeing the creation of promotional materials and online content. Ideal candidates are highly motivated, organized, able to handle multiple projects, collaborate effectively, and provide supervision and coaching to uphold the organization's values.

What You'll Be Doing:Reflect, articulate, and promote the mission, vision, and identity, along with its strategic plan and programs.Develop and execute comprehensive marketing, communications, and public relations strategies across internal and external channels to enhance the image and position.Lead marketing initiatives for training offerings and consulting services, available to agencies and partners serving children, young people, and families locally and nationally.Set the tone for messaging and portrayal of the mission and vision internally and externally.Establish relationships with media outlets to raise awareness of the mission.Support public relations activities, including press release creation and distribution.Direct and implement advertising and promotional activities.Ensure consistent communication of the desired image across all channels and supervise the internal team to maintain brand integrity.Review and support the Crisis Communication Plan.Design, develop, and execute social media content and manage the social media calendar.Support digital outreach and social media campaigns related to fundraising activities.Develop and execute public relations campaigns and engage with key stakeholders.Support internal communications regarding key messages and their delivery.Analyze target market information and program data to recommend effective marketing approaches.Identify new market segments for programs and services.Drive the brand strategy and achieve strategic goals for social media, advertising, and marketing campaigns.Manage marketing distribution channels, including website, email, social media, and print.Lead special projects such as event support, re-branding, and communication plans.Incorporate inclusion, diversity, equity, and access (IDEA) principles into materials development.

What You Need to Be Successful:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, business administration, or related field preferred.5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or public relations, preferably in the not-for-profit sector, with demonstrated success.Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout, and design skills.Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications.Clear and concise communication skills, both orally and in writing.Proficiency in using social media and websites as effective communication tools, with an understanding of current marketing and communication trends.Commitment to collaborative work within shared leadership and cross-functional teams.Creativity and the ability to merge attractive design with functionality in all projects.Proficiency in HTML, content management systems, and design software.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with customer relationship management systems.

Compensation:This opportunity offers an annual salary of $85,000 - $100,000 plus a full and robust benefits package including health, dental, vision, disability, retirement plans, and 15 days of paid time off plus 14 paid holidays.
