Machinify is seeking an experienced

Director of Content Marketing

to join our team as the first content marketing manager. This person will own the development of content and editorial strategy. They will produce compelling and relevant content that supports thought leadership, engagement, traffic, and drive acquisition as well as customer retention. Additionally, the content manager will build out Machinify's customer story library, expand our content efforts to new heights, and generate new content formats that resonate with our payer audience!

The ideal person for this role is a self-starter who brings excitement about making healthcare more affordable and accessible. Their background includes brand/product storytelling, an analytical mindset, and a track record of success in new content generation.

What you'll do:

Communicate Machinify's vision, thought leadership, and drive awareness/engagement throughout the marketing funnelDefine, execute, and project manage Machinify's content marketing and editorial strategyCreate and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely deliverables through the effective allocation of content budget/resourcesWrite high-quality, thought-provoking content in formats that engage our audiences including: case studies, e-books, blog posts, webinars, email copy, and SEO articles.Develop Machinify's customer stories and case studies to showcase the company's success in market.Work closely customer subject matter experts (SMEs) to generate novel thought leadership not-yet shared within the categoryOwn the 'Blog' and future expansion of content marketing resourcesCraft compelling product messaging and positioning that resonates with target audiences. Translate technical features into customer-centric value propositionsCollaborate with external partners and agencies to expand the company's content reach and impactSet realistic goals and develop a reporting plan for key performance metrics (e.g. engagement, reach, sentiment, etc.) to continuously improve and optimize content strategyOversee the creation and maintenance of a content style guide to ensure consistency in tone, voice, and messagingStay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continually evolve and innovate the company's content tactics/formatsEnsure all content adheres to legal and regulatory requirementsWhat you'll bring:

8+ years of experience with deep expertise in content marketing (generating top of funnel interest, thought leadership, and ownership of associated content marketing strategies)Demonstrated success in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for B2B, B2SMB, and / or B2C SAAS productsProven success in creating new, strategic, and full-funnel content programs (with the ability to execute against said programs)Excellent communication (verbal and written) and storytelling abilities, with a track record of crafting impactful messagingAnalytical mindset with proficiency in leveraging data to drive decision-makingPerformance tracking. Ability to analyze data and create metrics to optimize content marketing initiativesSuccess in forming partnerships with internal cross-functional teams across leadership, SMEs, Sales, Account Management, and Product counterpartsExcellent project and budget management skillsHaving experience in SEO, driving and optimizing content experienceExcels in fast-paced and ambiguous work environments with an appetite for feedbackUtilized analytics to identify the impact and effectiveness of full-funnel content programsExperience working with Content Management Systems such as Webflow or HubSpot (is a plus)Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent experiencePreferred: Deep understanding of market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer behaviors in the consumer healthtech industryWhat we offer:

The salary for this position is based on an array of factors unique to each candidate: Such as years and depth of experience, set skills, certifications, etc. The salary for this position ranges between 140-180k.

We are hiring for different levels, and our Recruiting team will let you know if you qualify for a different role/range. Salary is one component of the total compensation package, which includes meaningful equity, excellent healthcare, flexible time off, and other benefits and perks.
