We seek a talented Senior Product Designer to lead and execute design projects that define and elevate our visual identity and product experience. This role is crucial in shaping how Lambda is perceived across all touchpoints.What You'll Do

Lead the design process for new and existing products, from ideation to launchCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and other designers to ensure a seamless product development processCreate user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback, and conducting usability studiesExpertly craft the UI/UX of our product and web experience - establishing user personas, journeys, and flowsDevelop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals to communicate design concepts effectivelyDevelop, maintain and contribute to our design system to ensure consistency across all product touchpoints. Codify our design language into a robust system, producing a library of components, design tokens, and variablesAdvocate for design best practices and mentor junior designers within the teamContinuously iterate on design solutions based on user testing and feedbackStay updated on industry trends and design techniquesExperiment with new design toolsYou

Enjoy building design systems from the ground upHave a low ego, team-first mentality, and enjoy collaborating with a close-knit teamUse data and quantitative feedback to inform your designsAlways communicate the rationale behind design decisions and approach qualitative analysis with a reasonable, level-headed approachEnjoy building a strong rapport and relationships across your entire organizationAre comfortable soliciting and giving critical feedbackAre comfortable working closely with different styles of stakeholders both technical and non-technical (Product/Engineering and Marketing)Love ideation, iteration, and attention to detail (pixel perfection)Requirements8+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to solve complex design problems and create user-friendly interfacesProficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping toolsProficiency in project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Notion, Asana, Monday, or other related products)Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles, with a proven track record of applying these in real-world projectsExperience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating findings into actionable design improvementsExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and feedback clearlyA degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred but not requiredNice to HaveFamiliarity with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptMotion designExperience designing for mobile applications and responsive web designKnowledge of accessibility standards and how to implement them in designExperience working within agile development environmentsPrevious experience in a mentorship or leadership role within a design teamExperience in a fast-paced environmentExperience in the machine learning or computer hardware industrySalary Range Information

Based on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $166,000 - $240,000. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
