Project Managers work closely with the senior team members to understand the client business model, articulate project objectives to team members and assist with ground-level project execution. The analysts are keenly aware and proactive in ensuring positive financial outcomes on projects to which they are assigned.

The Project Manager acts as liaison between client stakeholders (and their specific project objectives) and the internal VMLY&R team delivering against those objectives. The Project Manager thrives in the role of project SME-being the deep owner of all requirements with the ability to provide detail and current status on any project item. The Project Manager also strives to become a business owner by understanding and affecting the overall relationship and financial health of the relationship by facilitating communications and escalating risks to senior Delivery and P&E team members.

The Project Manager works with various members of the project team, including clients, to become the master of requirements and remain constantly aware of project status. He or she works closely with design and development teams to ensure that initial project objectives and requirements are met. The Project Manager performs deeply analytical tasks and effectively communicates the outcomes. He or she fosters a strong client relationship and maintains a keen sense of project health, including financials.Required SkillsWorks closely with the Senior Project Manager to:

Acts as an internal liaison that reinforces client/project priorities, clarifies requirements and solves for identified cross-discipline gapsSchedules and runs meetings with internal constituentsHosts project training as needed for onboarding or client needsManages project team relationship in coordination with consulting leadSupports the consulting lead and team in scoping new engagementsSupports the consulting lead and team in driving internal and external communications (scheduling meetings, compiling/distributing notes, tracking action items, ensure follow-through on intermediate and milestone deliverables, etc.)Maintains project momentum and keeps project and team on trackCatalogs and maintains all project documentation and deliverablesSupports requirements gathering and refinement including stakeholder interviews (and any required gap analysis), gathering and organizing supporting information, analyzing data and prepping reports that summarize findings; may function as a stakeholder proxy both authoring and validating acceptance criteriaDefines and clearly explains necessary project processes/workflowsCoordinates and/or authors points of view as required by a projectRequired ExperienceBachelor's degree or equivalent in a related fieldOne to three years of agency and/or client-side experience managing large-scale marketing projectsExcellent communication skills; creates clarity where there is ambiguity/confusionStrong organization skillsAttention to detail, willingness to ask questions and ability to follow upEmbraces changePassion for learningAbility to follow directionUnderstanding of the SDLC and methodologies, including agileExperience documenting functional requirements for digital projects/products

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. $45,000-$90,000 USD
