Our mission is to provide the resources, opportunities and community Latinas need to thrive, innovate and lead in tech.Job Summary:As part of our commitment to growth and impact, Latinas in Tech is seeking a talented Grant Writer to join our team and help secure funding to support our programs and initiatives. The Grant Writer will be responsible for researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals to foundations, corporations, and government agencies. This role requires strong writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate our organization's goals and impactRoles and Responsibilities:Research grants opportunities from a variety of sources, including foundations, corporations, and government agenciesCollaborate with the development department, program managers and leadership team to identify funding needs and prioritiesWrite compelling grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and grant reports that effectively communicate our organization's mission, goals, and impactDevelop budgets and financial projections for grant proposals in collaboration with the finance teamMaintain a calendar of grant deadlines and ensure timely submission of grant applicationsCultivate relationships with funders and partners to enhance our grant-seeking efforts and maximize funding opportunities Stay informed about trends and developments in the grant-making landscape and identify new funding opportunitiesTrack and report on grant activity, including awarded grants, pending proposals, and funding prospects.Preferred Qualifications :Bachelor's degree in communications, English, nonprofit management, or related field (Master's degree preferred)Proven experience in grant writing, with a track record of successful grant awards in the nonprofit sector, particularly in the areas of education, diversity, and women's empowermentStrong writing skills with the ability to craft clear, compelling, and persuasive grant proposals and reportsExcellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather and synthesize information from diverse sourcesDetail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyKnowledge of grant-making processes and best practices, including familiarity with grant databases and online resourcesPassion for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the tech industry and a commitment to advancing opportunities for Latinas in TechBenefits:Unlimited Vacation PolicyProfessional Development Stipend, opportunities and support for continued learningCalm Premium for mental health and wellbeing
