(When dealing with courses affected by our Assurance of Learning program, coordinate creation of objectives with assessment staff to ensure that course objectives align appropriately with college goals.)• Assist faculty with preparing for studio recording of course lectures: creating uniform PowerPoint slides, editing and creating templates for instructional materials, learning and implementing copyright and accessibility standards, etc.• Assist faculty in brainstorming and implementing innovative uses of the course management system features as well as other tools for teaching online.Assessment, Accessibility, & Review• Conduct quality assurance and review of courses.• Update course sites and instructional materials to incorporate accessibility and readability best practices.• Utilize the UF + Quality Matters rubric to assess College of Business courses. Collaborate with the leadership team and faculty to implement course updates to achieve Quality, High Quality, and Exemplary designations.• Assist faculty, TAs, and other staff with assessment and instructional tasks as requested. This includes building and testing exams, managing accommodations, and coordinating with online proctoring services.Cross-collaboration & Project Management• Coordinate with the video production team and other program staff to ensure the development of quality video and other course content.• Assist with the development of various documents and course sites as needed, such as informational resources, training sessions, orientation sites, and tutorials for faculty and TAs about course design and teaching with technology.• Consult with faculty through one-on-one meetings, group sessions, workshops, and informational sessions to integrate technology into teaching.• Support online instruction with miscellaneous new and existing instructional software and applications.Other technical and administrative tasks as determined by supervisor.Expected Salary:$55,000 - $65,000Minimum Requirements:Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience.Preferred Qualifications:• Experience with higher education course design• Higher Education teaching or TA experience• Experience working directly with faculty• Experience working on a team in a fast-paced environment• Knowledge and practical experience with a variety of course management systems and online teaching tools as a teacher or administrator• Familiarity with Canvas, PowerPoint, MS Office, and HTMLSpecial Instructions to Applicants:In order to be considered, you must upload your cover letter and resume.Application must be submitted by 11:55 p.m. (ET) of the posting end date.Health Assessment Required:NoAdvertised: 26 Jun 2024 Eastern Daylight TimeApplications close: 16 Jul 2024 Eastern Daylight Time
