At UCLA Health, you can do all this and more.In this key role, you will review Ambulatory Medical Specialty & Heme/Oncinfusion orders for medical necessity,formulary preferences and if needed coordinate with the prescribing provider toupdate orders per protocol prior to authorization submission. You will serve as the primary ambulatory pharmacyresource for information regarding infusion payor formularies and denialreasons. You will support authorization coordinators and prescribing providerswith complex infusion medication authorization cases. You will maintain and review patientmedication profiles, review physician medication orders and patients' insurancebenefits.
