About this RoleA Project Expeditor for

Irby Construction Company

works directly with the General Foreman to ensure jobs are ready to go to construction. The Project Expeditor attends pre-construction meetings to outline any pre-trip work orders when scheduled. They identify any issues on the job and communicates with the General Foreman.

What You'll Do

Identify any issues on the job prior to construction.

White line for locates.

Before pictures of work locations

Permit notifications

County and State Road watch (notifications of lane closures)

Ensure locates are marked correctly.

Reads electric distribution construction prints.

Reconciles material for the unit writer once construction is completed.

Travels to job sites to obtain any additional information to complete the job package.

Develops daily work plans, makes revisions as/when needed, and assembles any change requests.

What You'll Bring

Must possess basic working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel

Must be able to read and interpret electrical utility construction prints.

Must possess a working knowledge of electrical line construction.

Must be able and willing to travel to job sites (some overnight travel may also be required)

Must possess a valid driver’s license.
