Network Designer/Architect L2_

Jovian Concepts, Inc. is looking to hire a Network Designer/Architect 2 for our Program in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. This role requires a TS/SCI Clearance with a Polygraph. No CCA's will be accepted for this role.+ Actively manage enterprise computer systems and networks, analyzing technical issues, and developing and implementing corrective actions.+ Observe and interpret visual outputs indicating the operating status of systems and network components for designated computer network infrastructure.+ Translate user requests into technical diagnoses, then apply diagnoses to develop technical solutions to meet user needs.+ Develop strategies to migrate existing customers to new architecture/technology with minimal impact.+ Evaluate new technologies or equipment that can be added to Agency standard solutions.RequirementsMinimum Qualifications:+ A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph. No CCA's will be accepted.+ Bachelor's degree plus 5-years of relevant experience.+ A Master's degree plus 3-years of relevant experience.+ A Associate's degree plus 4-years of relevant experience.+ A high school diploma/GED plus 8-years of relevant experience may be considered.+ Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field.+ Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance and/or systems engineering. Additionally, must have experience in network or system administration.+ Strong Linux experience+ Experience in systems/network administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management.+ Experience supporting hardware installation, such as servers and network infrastructure.+ Experience setting up storage such as network \u2010 attached storage.+ Experience implementing security best practices to include PKI certificate generation, deployment and maintenance.+ Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages like Bash, Bourne, or CPreferred:+ Experience deploying and maintaining nginx+ Familiarity with Docker and RedHat Satellite+ Familiarity with cloud computing environments like AWS+ Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) products like Terraform, SALT and Ansible as well as system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana+ Experience with SELinix and FIPSIn our 2023/24 employee survey, Jovian Concepts earned a 92% Overall Workplace Experience Score and 100% of the employees across all departments agreed that they feel genuinely appreciated at Jovian Concepts.
