ManagementJOB SUMMARYThe overarching role of Director, Luxury Group Global Brand Marketing is to enhance the performance and positioning of Marriott International’s Luxury Group and associated brands (EDITION, The Luxury Collection, W Hotels, St. Regis, JW Marriott, The Ritz-Carlton, Ritz-Carlton Reserve, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection and Bulgari Hotels) within their competitive segments, and to ensure that Marriott International’s portfolio of luxury brands provide maximum value to the enterprise. The most important function of the Brand Marketing Leader is to provide a global point of view on and leadership of our go-to-market strategy, and marketing communications, ensuring that all cross-functional teams take a cohesive approach towards building a successful luxury hospitality brand.CANDIDATE PROFILEEducation and Experience Required4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, or related major and 10+ years of relevant professional experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performanceOR12+ years of including the development and pull-through of the brand strategy and global brand marketing approachOwns the Luxury Group portfolio campaign from strategy, to creative to performance optimization.Owns the Luxury Group brand style guide, evolutions and ensuring consistency across the company in it’s applicationsWork with Bonvoy executive leadership team to align on brand affiliation POVs and work through exceptions or evolutions to how we partner togetherHeads the Luxury Groups innovation strategy to meet the ever-evolving luxury consumer by bringing new innovation to life with ground-breaking marketing campaigns, activations and partnershipsRepresent the Luxury Group point of view across multiple disciplines within Marriott International including Loyalty, Digital, and MarketingFosters, supports, and educates a community of brand leaders globally and supports leadership in building a compelling business case around the Luxury Group for the existing and future community of brandsEmpowers and guides Luxury Group brand experts to drive the continuation of evolved brandingCollaborates with Continent Luxury Brand Leaders, Luxury Managing Directors and key discipline leaders to pull-through the global brand strategy in each regionCreates a consistent voice and impactful consumer experience across all channels of communication and consumer touchpoints, strengthening our digital footprint and on-property brand environment to drive total growth of all aspects of the Luxury Group business including business travel, leisure travel, events, F&B, weddings, spa, and moreDevelops the Luxury Group’s holistic content strategy for original content that supports brand and marketing objectives across paid, owned, earned, and internal channelsLeads marketing vendor strategy and oversees all third-party vendors and agencies tasked with creative and strategic work on behalf of the Luxury GroupPartners with cross-functional teams including Media, Creative, E-Commerce, PR, Sales, Social, Digital, Email, and Marriott Bonvoy to establish KPIs that support our business, ensure brand coherence, leverage synergies, reduce wasted spend, and drive success of projectsSupports the Luxury Group’s global growth strategy to ensure on-strategy growth in key markets around the worldLeverages brand performance metrics to drive brand awareness, brand affiliation to $202,675 annually. Marriott offers a bonus program, comprehensive health care benefits, 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match, employee stock purchase plan at 15% discount, accrued paid time off (including sick leave where applicable), life insurance, group disability insurance, travel discounts, adoption assistance, paid parental leave, health savings account (except for positions based out of or performed in Hawaii), flexible spending accounts, tuition assistance, pre-tax commuter benefits, other life and work wellness benefits, and may include other incentives such as stock awards and deferred compensation plans.
