Seeking to hire a Web Developer in Vernon Hills, IL.
Duties:
· Build and optimize a secure web page for evolving business needs.
· Provide continued support for one or more web properties.
· Maintain communication with team members and supervisors concerning the direction of the website.
· Code and script applications.
· Perform routine site audits, as well as ongoing maintenance, on an as-needed basis.
Requirements:
· Strong understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds
· Strong understanding of features and utility functions of jQuery
· Basic understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
· Ability to adapt various jQuery features, such as “$.ajax”, to specific needs
· Basic understanding of page layout with bootstrap
· Basic understanding of SQL is a plus
· Basic understanding of PHP
· To be able to crop, resize, or make minor modifications to a picture, you should have a basic understanding of Photoshop.
· Ability to manipulate DOM using JavaScript
