You will lead our business unit to improve its marketing to consumers, while also providing energy and momentum to our B2B and Retail sales teams with even better sales tools. Across our business unit this role is core to making sure we get the right message, to the right audience, and at the right time.

Position Summary:

The Senior Manager needs to be the ultimate integrator with excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication and relationship building. They must be a strong creative thinker and strategic problem solver that can communicate with all levels of the organization, including the ability to demonstrate to Senior Executives how further investments in Marketing can deliver both short term and longer-term ROI.

The Senior Manager’s #1 goal is to strengthen our initiatives and to ensure we execute them flawlessly.

The Senior Manager is responsible for leading the development of marketing capability across the business unit, including but not limited to coaching product and marketing managers to identify the important insights that can lead to GREAT MARKETING. The position requires a deep understanding and broad experience with multiple functional areas such as digital, CRM, retail, consumer promotion, advertising, creative design etc. and practical experience with integrated execution.

This position serves as the single point of leadership to ensure the business unit generates BIG, commercially viable ideas and execute flawlessly. This position needs to simultaneously lead our business and brands to direct-to-consumer marketing, but also focus on ensuring our B2B sales tools drive desired behavior.

Essential Functions:

Understand consumer, market and competitor information and trends to ensure relevant and effective integrated marketing campaignsPartner with Market Managers and Product Managers and to develop and implement launches and initiatives for new and existing productsImplement the effective application of marketing strategies, tactics and methods, consistent with brand positioning, to elicit the desired response from the consumer or customerCollaborate with Product Managers to establish and maintain brand identification standardsLead the development and oversee the operation of Dixon Ticonderoga’s websites – branded and corporateOversee creation and maintenance of content that can be shared across numerous platforms, including websites social, e-commerce sites, and customer catalogs.Collaborate with Marketing Managers & Sales to provide best-in-class B2B sales training & toolsCoach and guide a team of internal employees and external partners in the development of impactful contentDevelop and manage the marketing communications budgets and deliver initiatives within agreed budgets and timelinesReport on key performance metrics of marketing initiativesKey Competencies:

Marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualificationMinimum of 8 years of experience in integrated marketing programs across multiple platforms in a creative agency or client-side 5+ years digital marketing experience including social media and e-commerce.Strong Digital IQ / Digital ExperienceDeep understanding and broad experience with multiple functional areas such as digital, CRM, retail, consumer promotion, advertising, creative design etc. and practical experience with integrated execution.Strong project management abilities in a leadership roleAbility to self-manage while managing assigned teams and projects under tight deadlinesAbility to expertly handle multiple project and priorities working with various internal and external partners and organizational levelsExperience with a variety of marketing and project management tools is desired.
