Web Designer

Location: Birmingham, AlabamaJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $36 - 39 per hourWe are looking for a talented Web Designer to join our client's team and elevate their digital graphics to the next level!In this role, you will create digital graphics for our client's websites and across digital marketing channels to support 48 locations. You will translate high-level business requirements and promotional campaigns into branded, intuitive, and revenue-generating designs appropriate for their respective channels. Responsibilities:Develop site content and graphics in collaboration with the Ecommerce Specialist and Advertising team, designing images, icons, banners, and more.Design and test monthly emails.Create website graphics with 2-3 updates per week.Design website landing pages (Gift Guide, Branded Pages, etc.).Create blog graphics and social media graphics.Implement website UX updates and intranet updates.Continuously improve websites by upgrading site-wide content and graphics based on testing, analysis findings, and promotional needs.Adhere to corporate brand guidelines.Collaborate with the Advertising team on campaign requirements and social media strategy.Support retail stores through special projects.Use design best practices to maximize media’s impact.Create, develop, design, code, and implement digital content.Test designs across multiple browsers and devices.Edit and proofread content for accuracy.Manage code repository in GitHub.Qualifications:Experience level: ExperiencedMinimum 3 years of experienceEducation: Bachelors (required)Experience in web graphic design, web user interface design, and responsive design.Knowledge of web programming and experience working in Shopify with Liquid code.Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite.Strong HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript skills.Understanding of how API connections work and JSON file structure.Creative and innovative with a keen eye for design.Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.Detail-oriented with excellent proofreading and editing skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Proactive in identifying and solving problems. JOBID: 1056773#LI-CELLA#LI-TL1#PLEqual Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.At Cella, a randstad digital company, we welcome people of all abilities and want to ensure that our hiring and interview process meets the needs of all applicants.
