Senior Marketing Manager, Strategic Planning,

charged to lead our new strategic planning function across our all key businesses, including Azure, Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365.Part of the Global Demand Center, this role will be developing and facilitating our annual and quarterly planning rhythms to align across all of our marketing organizations including product marketing, GTM, and integrated marketing. We are looking for someone who loves organizing and creating structure, who has a proven track record of developing processes, systems, and structures that allow others to be successful. You will ideate and innovate to advance our planning process and how we represent business impact aligned to our planning priorities. You will manage and maintain senior level executive relationships across marketing and sales roles to drive unity and alignment during the planning process. You will help create the end-to-end planning process across a complex set of stakeholders to ensure quality, consistency, and clarity as our business leaders go into annual and quarterly planning process. This will include creating planning frameworks, guiding principles, and ensuring alignment across all our business stakeholders.Annual and Quarterly Planning Leadership. You will guide our partners and stakeholders through the planning process, oversee Solution Play Governance, and drive innovation on how we run, professionalize, and streamline our planning process.Communications. Effective clear communications will ensure stakeholders are aligned on key deliverables and timelines to ensure timely Executive reviews and global program launches.Plan Measurement & Performance. You will also help how we report back out on our plan performance and business impact with quarterly executive reviews.Innovation. Help bring new tools, tech, and AI to the forefront of our planning process.OtherEmbody our culture and valuesQualificationsRequired/Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Marketing or related field AND 6+ years work experience in technology-related marketing, program management, professional services, consulting, process management, process improvement

OR equivalent experience.

6+ years experience leading B2B Marketing, Go-to-Market (GTM) and/or Sales planning process.

Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Operations, or related field AND 8+ years work experience in technology-related marketing, program management, professional services, consulting, business planning, strategy, or related field AND 8+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement

OR equivalent experience.

Experience in strategic planning across sales and/or marketing with the ability to bring clarity to complex situations, with comms experience.

A proven track record of working in large, complex matrixed organizations, coordinating across large numbers of stakeholders

Growth mindset to continually be learning and improving, along with a passion to help other be successful.

Business Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $115,000 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $146,200 - $219,200 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
