Senior Communications Consultant+ Experience in executive communications, strategic planning with proven ability to develop strategies.+ Strong proofreading and editing skills.+ Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.+ Executive level presentation skills.+ Participates with Senior Leadership on strategy development and issue resolutionESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:40% Provides executive leadership with aplatform to articulate organizational goals, foster transparency and align with the Company’s vision. Works closely with business divisions to understand opportunities and priorities to provide strategic oversight and direction of various communications need which may be anticipated or unplanned.30% Leads the development and amplification of strategic communications, including but not limited to tactical printed marketing materials, digital communications, presentations, thought leadership, talking points, and more.20% Works collaboratively with senior leadership to prepare them for high-stake engagements and strengthen their everyday communications.10% Leverages analytics to determine effectiveness and seek continual improvements of communications engagement.+ This person is responsible for creating the messaging on behalf of senior leadership (the general manager plus 5 senior leaders).+ Communications include: talkers, presentations, digital presentations, thought leadership pieces, etc.+ This position supports all internal communications – intranet, town hall meetings, etc.+ This position supports some external communications – messaging on the extranet; this person puts together the messaging that goes into the reports to communicate plans and updates.+ This role is a mix of strategy and writing.+ Strategic messaging: what senior leaders should say, when, where, etc.+ Ideal candidate has executive communications experience (either for C-suite, or maybe for someone on Capital Hill, an executive director, a general manager, etc.).+ Minimum: bachelors degree (any) + 8 years of professional communications experienceAbout TEKsystems:We're partners in transformation.
