Lead Cad Designer-Ports/Maritime_

Job DescriptionInsight Global is looking for a Lead CAD technician to join a ports and maritime group. This person will be responsible for helping lead a small CAD Team and will provide guidance to more junior level staff. This individual will participate with teams to design small to largeprojects (construction values typically from $500K to $50M) and primary focus will be on graphically illustrating the geotechnical, structural, and general civil design elements of projects. Typical ports projects contain marine, geotechnical, structural, piping, rail and general civildrawings which illustrate how a project will be constructed. Primary responsibility will involve generating scopes of work, estimating overall man-hour efforts related to those scopes, drawing detailed plans and details, generating regulatory documents, and overseeing the quality controlreview process.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
