All are welcome to apply to our programs.POSITION OVERVIEWMarketing and Communication Manager helps to execute cohesive communications strategies to maximize engagement for SEO participants, funders, and alumni.Specifically, the manager will lead the marketing and communications work for a portfolio of programs, both internal and external, which includes:+ Cultivate relationships with program team members to understand their vision and goals to translate into communication plans that will impact results.+ Designs and executes marketing campaigns to meet program goals for recruitment, events, and partner activities.+ Deploy email campaigns using best practices to engage audiences, including design, decision funnels, workflows, and automations.+ Coordinate with social media manager for content creation to align messages across media.+ Set goals for KPI’s, report analytics, and revise strategy based on results.+ Coordinate and provide strategy for digital campaigns, video production, graphic design, photography, copywriting, and social media as requested.+ Manage the creation and design of collateral material to support all program needs.+ Support and staff events for students, participants, and partners including coordinating photography and videography.QUALIFICATIONS+ Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.+ 3-5 years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably for a nonprofit organization, including working knowledge of email marketing, digital strategy, social media strategy, and basic public relations.+ Expertise in HubSpot, Microsoft Office, WordPress, Monday.com, and other standard workplace applications.+ Knowledge of design applications preferred: Adobe Creative Suite, Canva.+ Strong analytical skills and a focus on data. Advanced reporting and Excel skills a plus.+ Excellent project management, planning, prioritization, and organizational skills with the ability to execute projects through from conception to completion.+ Must have experience working in shared services or client-facing positions and effectively collaborating and leading working teams.+ Direct experience developing creative campaigns and project plans and leveraging project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Basecamp) desired.+ Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills; must be comfortable speaking to and engaging with a wide range of communities and through different avenues, including in-person, email, messaging platforms, video chats/conferencing, and phone calls.COMPETENCIES & SKILLS+ Passion for SEO's mission:
