Adecco is seeking a skilled **Technical Writer** to join our team for a part-time, 6-month contract role. In this role, you'll be responsible for creating and maintaining clear and concise documentation related to preventative maintenance processes, primarily standard operating procedures within the client's SAP system. This role offers competitive compensation ( **$18-$21/hr** ) and a flexible part-time schedule of 16 - 32 hours per week.**Preferred Schedule:** 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM**Top reasons to work with Adecco:**+ Weekly Pay+ Upskilling opportunities through the Adecco Aspire Academy+ Dedicated onboarding specialist to guide you from offer to start**Requirements:**+ High school diploma or equivalent required.+ Proficiency in computer applications, including experience with SAP (preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.+ A basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems within an industrial environment.+ Prior experience in a skilled maintenance role is a plus.+ The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and identify components.+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.+ A keen eye for detail and strong organizational abilities.**What You'll Do:**+ Craft and maintain accurate, detailed, and user-friendly documentation, focusing on PM SOPs and spare parts lists.+ Collaborate with maintenance workers, supervisors, engineers, and other stakeholders to grasp technical concepts and translate them into accessible content.+ Conduct on-site process observations to gather information and ensure the accuracy of documentation.+ Review and edit existing PM documentation for clarity, consistency, and adherence to company standards.+ Guarantee that technical content aligns with industry best practices and guidelines.**Please note:** This is an on-site role, requiring you to be present at the work location to observe the processes you'll be documenting.**Pay Details:** $18.00 to $21.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
