**Description****Art Therapist - Social Work Services - Part-Time 1 day a week, 8 Hours 8:30-5:00**Art Therapy is a key behavioral health component to the SCI Supportive Care Services program and is embedded within the Swedish Cancer Institute. The Art Therapist is a core member of the multi-disciplinary supportive care team. The Art Therapist provides consultation-based Art Therapy interventions to individuals, couples and family without restrictions in gender, age, complexity or medical comorbidity.Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable. Your voice matters here, because we know that to inspire and retain the best people, we must empower them.**Required Qualifications:**+ Master's Degree: Art Therapy; Art Therapy program must be either: be approved by the American Art Therapy Association (AATA) and accredited by the Art Therapy Credentials Board (ATCB), OR Art Therapy program in which graduates are elliglble to receive the ATR-P/ATR/ATR-BC credentials with additional requirements as issued by AATA/ATCB+ Master's Degree: Fully accredited psychology/behavioral health program that leads to eligibility for graduates to become fully licensed in WA state in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Social Work+ Master's Degree: Fully accredited psychology/behavioral health program that leads to eligibility for graduates to become licensed in WA state in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Social Work, and also includes an Art Therapy specialization, and in which in which graduates are eligible to receive the ATR-P/ATR/ATR-BC credentials+ Upon hire: Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker License Or+ Upon hire: Washington Mental Health Counselor License Or+ Upon hire: Washington Marriage and Family Therapist License+ Within 5 years of hire: Board Certification (ATR-BC) from the Art Therapy Credentials Board in alignment with the American Art Therapy Association+ Within 3 years of hire: Art Therapist, Registered (ATR)+ Upon hire: Art Therapist, Provisional (ATR-P) Associate+ One year: Work related experience, preferably in a medical environment. Must be able to demonstrate effective understanding of clinical art therapy and mental health principles, practices and methodologies.
