Job DescriptionTechnical Writer - SeniorCompiles, drafts and coordinates a variety of high-performance computing technical articles, reports, brochures, program histories and/or manuals for documentation for a wide range of uses. Supports authors in the preparation, editing, and publication of articles and documents for senior management’s review and approval. Coordinates the display of graphics and the production of the document. Ensures content is of high quality and conforms with program standards.Responsibilities+ Maintain and update program archival and reference documents as called for in the DoD 5000 Series of Regulations.+ Maintain the existing Single Document Repository and Office file system, installed at the Lorton, VA location accessible to customers and contractors as necessary.+ The filing system that holds the Single Document Repository shall include all program documents and correspondence.+ Facilitate, track and submit monthly the documentation distribution clearance process and submit tracking report. Create and track all existing programmatic and contractual Standards of Practice (SOPs) for review and annual update by providing a SOP Documentation Report tracking dates completed, updated, and next review, and short description of changes on last SOP.+ Maintain an archive of the Program’s slides, viewgraphs, videotapes, motion pictures, publications and documents.+ Compile, draft, edit, and coordinate administrative publications, Program histories and annual reports. Support authors in the preparation and publication of articles and documents.+ Support planning, analysis, technical writing, technical editing, and revising of all program documentation for senior HPCMP management review and approval. The Contractor shall prepare documents, organize data, and perform analyses.
