Our Marketing team is currently seeking a

Marketing Communication Specialist

in our Worcester, MA location. Position is eligible for Hybrid/Flex work arrangement. Fully remote arrangement will be considered for candidates with strong qualifications. This is a full time, exempt role.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Reporting to the Business Unit Marketing leader, the Marketing Communications Specialist assists in managing brand consistency and the delivery of marketing communication objectives. The individual will be responsible for writing thoughtful communications that represent The Hanover brand to enhance the agent and customer experience and participate in the promotion and service delivery of product and technology enhancements.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

Manages relationships with business stakeholders, providing ongoing service support.Responsible for providing external communication support for assigned line of business, including overseeing important product, technology and service communications and updates.Partner with stakeholders to optimize the agent and customer communication experience while representing The Hanover brand.Contributes to and generates ideas for marketing communication strategies through participation in design, development, and delivery initiatives.Participates in the design and development of marketing communication and sales promotional materials.Responsible for maintenance of collateral across various marketing assets.Attends onsite employer-client events as requested.Conducts and assists with meeting presentations.Implements effective communication plans.Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of marketing communication strategies.WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:

Typically has 1-3 years related experience.Minimum associate degree; bachelor's degree preferred.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and/or other Desktop Publishing software.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Comfortable using generative AI such as co-pilot or ChatGPT.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities within established deadlines.Ability to adapt quickly and effectively within a changing environment.Ability to generate creative and innovative ideas.Applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of the particular field or specialization.Works to achieve established goals with limited supervision.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities within established deadlines.Ability to adapt quickly and effectively within a changing environment.Ability to generate creative and innovative ideas.Plans, conducts, and may supervise assignments.Works to achieve established goals with minimal supervision.May train less experienced employees in technical complexities of assigned projects.This job posting provides cursory examples of some of the job duties associated with this position.
