MARKETING PROJECT COORDINATOR
The Marketing Project Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing several high-profile projects. This individual will collaborate highly with Sales in the management of sales contests, client networking events and client recognition projects. They will be responsible for all coordination of the projects from inception until completion including working with graphic design, accounting and IT. They will develop project briefs, analyze metrics, and manage budgets. They will optimize existing projects and contests that drive business success. They will research venues, develop guest lists and coordinate external communications. They will communicate effectively, collaborate well, be self-motivated, super organized, detail-oriented, thrive under pressure, works well in a fast-paced environment, and has a passion for execution and logistics.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGWHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Managing sales contests from ideation through final execution including deep dives into the data and execution of the contest
Collaborating with sales, creative, data services and often IT to manage projects
Managing outside vendor fulfillment
Research venues in select cities throughout the country to host networking events and then coordinate menus, budgets, logistics, creative assets and external communication
Own development of project schedule, planning documents and organization of information
Organize and manage communications between team members and leaders
Working with planning tools (i.e., budget tracking, project timeline, logistics and deliverables schedules, meeting agendas and notes, etc.)
Track budget costs throughout the course of projects
Analyzing data for end of year awards for clients, then ordering and managing the shipment of awards throughout the country
Troubleshooting logistical challenges
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOUWHAT MATTERS TO US
BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Communications, Logistics or a related field
Minimum 1 year professional experience in marketing or project management
Advanced experience with Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
Ability to explain complex information in clear, concise terms
Positivity, enthusiasm and friendliness
Flexible, innovative and demonstrates the ability to make sound decisions
Ability to take initiative, be proactive and have meticulous follow-through
Results-oriented, with the ability to complete assignments on time and manage multiple priorities concurrently
Thorough understanding of sports preferred but not required
