Position Overview:

The Growth Marketing team is searching for an experienced Marketing Analyst focused on Search Engine Marketing (SEM) who is data-driven, hands-on, and results-oriented to help accelerate growth driven from the Paid Search channel. The role will be accountable for best practice campaign optimization, implementation of strategy, and daily reporting across multiple SEM accounts, platforms, ad formats, and business verticals. The ideal candidate will have experience in hands-on optimization of Text, YouTube, PMAX, and App ad formats, knowledge of modern SEM best practices, and skill in working with large data sets to extract actionable insights.

This is a hybrid role based in Dallas, TX (Mondays and Wednesdays in office)

What You’ll Do:Execute, manage, and optimize large-scale SEM campaigns across multiple lines of business and platforms.Coordinate with SEM Managers in the hands-on implementation of SEM strategy in pursuit of business goals.Manage and optimize Text, Performance Max, Video, and App campaign ad serving across platforms including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Apple Search AdsOwn recurring weekly and monthly SEM optimization (i.e., keyword expansion, ad testing, tracking parameter trafficking, campaign experiment management, etc.)Provide consistent and effective support to the SEM channel lead on day-to-day management of campaigns, performance, and new SEM opportunities.Regularly measure, evaluate, and report on the performance of SEM campaigns to help advise on optimization and budget investment decisions.Analyze and blend data across multiple reporting sources including in-platform SEM metrics, Google Analytics, Tableau, and other sources of conversion reporting to keep a regular pulse on performance and quickly identify and action on opportunities.Consistently test, measure, and analyze performance across all channels to optimize strategy, and identify patterns, trends, and user behavior.Deliver analysis and insights that help teams optimize SEM programs.Regularly and carefully perform and document quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and avoid errors in optimization and activation work.Provide ongoing and ad hoc analytical support to SEM Program Managers.Write highly engaging ad copy across multiple business verticals and initiatives.Align with Analytics on the development, execution, measurement, and reporting of test results and next steps.Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to implement innovative SEM strategies.Who You Are:

2+ years of experience of hands-on activation and optimization of SEM campaigns.Experience in managing large accounts for complex businesses ($500K+ a month spend).Must have hands-on experience and the ability to dig into various platforms and ad formats (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Google Analytics, Apple Search Ads in Text, Display, Performance Max, Demand Gen, YouTube, and App formats).Advanced analytical skills and ability to interpret and extract insights from multiple, complex data sources.Curiosity and passion for testing and experimentation, proven ability to drive performance optimization through testing.Strong communication skills and experience presenting to a variety of audiences.Experience working on direct response campaigns with a solid understanding of performance tracking to efficiency goals including CAC, LTV and ROAS.Strong Excel skills and experience building pivot tables, blending multiple sources of data, implementing multi-function formulas, and creating clear, effective graphs preferred.Understanding of and experience with UTM tagging, link builder tools, etc.Comfortable diving into data to find key performance insights.Thrive in fast-paced and high-performance environments.Self-motivated and autonomous with a keen eye for detail

Salary Range:

$74,000-$95,000 annually

The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the national salary range for this position.

Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance.

The range listed is just one component of Care.com’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives.
