Job Description

Northrop Realty is seeking a skilled Digital Marketing Strategist to help us take the brand to the next level. A comprehensive digital marketing program is an integral component of our overall marketing efforts that support our agents and the brokerage.

We are looking for a creative, dynamic, and polished digital expert who can develop organic and paid digital marketing campaigns that capture prospects' attention and engage existing clients.

As Northrop Realty's Digital Marketing Strategist, you increase brand awareness by leveraging your creative mindset and exceptional abilities as a content creator and visual storyteller. You lean into your strategic planning, digital media management, email campaigns as well as automation, and analytic expertise as you grow and engage online communities. You are passionate about building, implementing, and managing the digital strategy across multiple platforms including programmatic, SEO, PPC, social media, email, and SMS. You thrive creating viral content, engaging with loyal followers, and sharing best practices with our team.

As an experienced digital marketer, you will be joining a team of elite marketing professionals and creative designers. You will report to our Director of Marketing and work onsite from our Clarksville, MD office. With the support of our team, you will develop a comprehensive digital media plan including establishing an editorial calendar for the brokerage, develop targeted online advertising campaigns, collaborate on marketing campaigns and content, analyze metrics, provide recommendations to our leadership team, and help new agents develop their social media presence. Our digital media expansion will be an integral part of showcasing the Northrop Realty leadership team and their expertise within the industry.

Objectives of this roleProvide expert guidance to Northrop Realty Real Estate Agents on social media best practices and advise on quarterly campaign developmentManage a robust social media content calendar for various channels, planning and scheduling posts in advanceCollaborate with the marketing team for a cohesive integrated strategy across various channels to achieve high levels of user engagement and brand recognitionBuild brand awareness to drive top of funnel conversions: Define personas, create campaigns across platforms to targeted audiences, engage with prospects on social media channelsResponsibilities

Create, manage, and publish original and high-quality content across various social media platforms; Research social media trends and hashtags that relate to a target audience's interests.Develop organic and paid social media strategies for the brokerage.Analyze data and metrics to create weekly and monthly reports on platform traffic, corresponding web traffic, user engagement, and ROI.Manage all company social media accounts to ensure content is relevant and up-to-date.Respond directly to comments and questions on social media posts.Collaborate with the marketing team to grow the company's network and target new followers.Manage social media platforms for all brokerage accounts, including occasional posting for executives.Participate in helping new agents establish or expand their social media presence, and learn how to become influencers.Coordinate with existing social media influencers, bloggers, and news outlets to promote brand awareness and create social buzz around new homes, events, our exclusive services for our agents and their clients.Monitor analytics and metrics to gauge success of social media posts and ad campaigns.Create & manage "Live" events.Collaborate on SEO content creation and website structure updatesDevelop, manage, and provide recommendations on paid search, display, and video campaignsQualifications

Skills and qualifications

Google adwords, monitoring ad campaignsProficiency with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTokExceptional eye for mobile videos and photo opportunities; photography/videography is a plusTeam collaborationExperience with graphic design, photo editing, and publishing a plusExperience with Asana or other project management tools requiredFamiliarity with social media posting tools such as HootsuiteUnderstanding of SEO and web traffic metrics/analyticsExcellent analytical skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsPreferred qualifications

3-4 years in corporate or agency digital media managementStrong personal social media presenceA bachelor's (or equivalent experience) in marketing or a related fieldStrong creative writing, copywriting, and copy editing skillsExcellent organizational and analytical skills; attention to detailExcellent time and project management skills; proven ability to multitask, follow through and meet deadlinesStrong problem-solving abilitiesStrong people skills, interpersonal savvyAbility to function well in a high-paced environmentStrong initiativeProficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.Experience with Asana, Canva, and Google Analytics a plusPhysical Demands:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Attending multi-hour events.Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds at times.Travel Required:

Must be willing and able to travel to Northrop events and between Northrop offices in Maryland, Delaware, and North Carolina.Must maintain reliable transportation.Additional Information
